This was a question I frequently asked you all when I was carrying 2nd child.

Answer is NO, my daughter Shanice Georgia was born on 3rd May at 4.56am weighing just 7lb 9oz. My first baby was 9lb and they said this one would be bigger!!!!!!!!!

Don't believe everything they tell you, I was worrying for last 4 weeks of pregnancy about the birth weight!

Shanice doing fine and I'm so pleased I now have boy and girl!

Any others "due May" hang on in there!

Congratulations Spilla and welcome to little Shanice Georgia

I'm due tomorrow and there are plenty others due in May too - but I'm not sure I want to hang in there for much longer

Kidstrack2 · 12/05/2005 14:34

Yeah that happened to me with my first who weighed 9lb 2oz they said second was going to be bigger, but they gave me a weight scan 4 weeks before baby no 2 was due and they said it would be 71/2lb. Baby was a few days late and arrived 7lb 10oz so was worth having that scan I can tell you to put my mind at rest!
