I'm so sorry for not posting sooner but boy does a baby take up alot of time!!

I went into labour on the 19th Feb at 6am, I delivered baby 21st Feb at 6mins to midnight! I ended up with an epidural that wore off, stirrups, episiotomy and a ventouse. Needless to say it was not a nice labour. I had a beautiful baby boy who weighed in at 5lb 15oz. We called him Caleb John and he is gorgeous. I didn't think it was possible to love another human this much. He's doing well and gaining almost a pound a week! I love being a mum and hope everyone is doing well.

well 3rd time mum, so its a breeze lol!!

think your little one might be bigger than Serena, was meant to get her weighed today but decided that seeing my husband was more important. The HV can come to me lol.

congrats on your bouncing bubba

Pidge · 07/04/2005 12:00

Brilliant to hear your news - we did wonder how you were after you disappeared! So thrilled to hear you're getting on so well. Babies are all consuming aren't they! I remember being told how busy you are before I had my dd1 but I couldn't imagine how whole days would disappear until I actually had her and experienced it. And this time round too I'd sort of forgotten how you get to 7pm and still haven't managed to get properly dressed!

Looking forward to hearing how you and Caleb are on the March post-natal thread.

bonym · 07/04/2005 12:49

Great news! As Pidge said, we had been thinking about you and waiting anxiously for news . Sorry to hear the labour wasn't so great but it's all worth it isn't it? Lovely name btw

Leogaela · 07/04/2005 18:00
