Tuesday 18th October 2008

1330 -- So I was finishing writing up an interview and felt a few low twinges like period pain

Called husband to say 'come home'

1430 -- had just 3 contractions

Called MIL to mid dd

1500 -- contractions every 2 mins lasting 45s

1530 -- waters broke in hospital car park - signed in

1730 -- felt urge to push - mw confirmed fully dilated

1735 -- 4 big pushes and a wee tear and there was my boy!!!!!

would've had entenox, but unlike first labour the contractions never came continuously ... so I was 'saving' the gas till it got bad .... but it never did!

much more intense contractions than first time tho

Congratulations! That's how labour should be for everyone! Have you got a name for him?
