Well, after a few days of niggling pre-labour type pains, actual contractions started at 10.30pm on thursday, and were regular at 4 mins apart by 11.30pm. Called midwife who arrived at house by just past midnight and said i was 5cm dilated already. Contractions got closer and stronger quite quickly after that and by 2am I was fully dilated. 7 minutes of pushing and Rebecca Ann was born weighing 9lb 5.5oz.

No stitches needed as only a small superficial tear despite having had a third degree tear with dd1 .
