Esme arrived in the early hours of Thursday morning last week, healthy and beautiful.

I had a traumatic time before her birth having a eclamptic seizure at home and having to be rushed to high dependancy unit in the hospital where they wanted to deliver the baby right away. Luckily my body had already started proceedings so I avoided a c-section and gave birth naturally. An absolute shock as had no idea I was ill or that I would give birth that day.

Proud mummy to my second daughter. Two wonderful girls! xxx

Congratulations! I hope you are recovered. How early was she?

Feeling great considering. She was 11 days early so not too early really and weighed 5lb 15 oz.The smallest baby I have ever held. My other dd was 8lb 9 oz and seemed massive in comparison. I think the eclampsia made her small.

and was there no sign of the eclampsia?

I'm glad you are both fine at the end of it! It could have been even worse.
