Lydia Jane, born 12.02pm on Tuesday 23rd September, 6 days late.
Had a sweep in the morning, already 3 cm dilated. Contractions started 3pm on 22nd, went into hosp at 9pm, gas & air and TENS, had pethidine at 2am, and slept till 6ish. At 9am, STILL only 3cm dilated despite 18hours of contractions was still only 3cm, so had waters broken. Followed by an epidural, (mmm lovely) Thankfully, I finally started dilating, and at 11.30 was 9cms.
Then pushed for 10 mins, and Lydia was born at 12.02pm, 8lb 11.5oz, 50cm long. She was put straight on my stomach, where she peed on me.
DD1 loves her, calls her Iddie, and it's all gone lovely so far!
