Baby gingernut has landed and with a bit of a bump in fact
After around 3 days of `pre-labour', established labour finally kicked in in the early hours of Monday 29th November, and baby Jonathan finally arrived at 2.59 pm on Monday weighing in at 8lb 5oz. Normal delivery, TENS and gas and air only, although I did ask for an epidural only to be told the anaethetist was busy in theatre. By the time (s)he came I was pushing! Jonathan arrived very suddenly in the end, and I am very sore but happy. We came home that evening so I only had to hear 1 baby crying in the night! ds1 is very interested in his brother and has been very affectionate towards him so far.
