Pregnant and starting a new job.

Help. I've just found out I am pregnant - 7 weeks and I start a new job in 2 weeks time - the pregnancy is a real shock and wasn't planned, but my partner and I are really happy about it.
My problem is what on earth do I do about my new job - I'm really looking forward to as it's an opportunity I have worked really hard for.

Any advice? Anyone been in a similar situation?

i would be completely up front. bear in mind that you will not be entitled to maternity benefits from your new job, just the standard SMP so i woud start saving now.
Someone more informed than i will advise you on your rights- i would be surpurised if they could withdraw the offer now, even if they wanted to- anit discrimination laws and all that

Thanks, I've just been reading about the what I would be entitled - the money is not the end of the world - just not sure what they will say.
