Hi all,

I haven't posted for eons but just to let you all know I had my daughter by emergency c-section as my placenta packed up on the 16th August at 37 weeks.

She weighed in at 12lbs 2oz with lots of lush dark hair and is just like Mummy.
After much deliberation we have named her
Eleanora Queenie Mae. Eleanora was suggested by a few on here whilst I was pg -so thankyou :0)
Unfortunately she contracted an infection at birth and became very seriously ill,ventilated and paralysed and was transferred to a specialist nicu 70 miles away which had the machines to breathe for her as she was on a higher level of oxygen than our hospital could supply and needed nitrate oxide also.She turned it around quickly though and is now safe at home with us

Oh BIG congratulations!!!!! I remember you! How wonderful. I'm really pleased she is now safe and home with you, it must have been a worrying time for you all.

someone started a thread recently wanting to know if you'd had your baby and how big as we'd all seen the size of your bump.... at the weight!

I remember your bump too, and we have something in common ds2 was born on the 16th too, he has just reached 12lbs was 7lb 56 at birth he's grown very fast
