Lock down baby reveal

Has anyone got any ideas for a gender reveal I can do in lockdown? I've got my 20 week scan next week and was planning on a little reveal just for my 5 year old. She is so excited about the new arrival and I wanted to do something special for her. I was going to get a blue or pink helium balloon in a wrapped box and let her open it but with the lock down I won't be able to buy balloons!

Does anyone have any creative ideas?

Congratulations. Use a paper towel. Fold it in half and on the top write 'it's a...' and then inside write boy or girl then colour it blue or pink. Get her to drop water over it and the colour will come through and gender revealed!

She's excited to find out about the baby, she doesn't need a gimmick. Just write "You're getting a little sister" or "You're getting a little brother" on a piece of paper or card, put in an envelope and get her to open it.

@anonymouse thank you! What would you use for a colour? Just normal felt tip?

@CheriLittlebottom yes you are right, but given we will have been in the house for such a long time I thought it would be nice to try and do something a little different for her.

@CheriLittlebottom yes, felt tip should work nicely.
