From a quick shuftie through Active Convos while DD is napping, I have clearly missed a lot over the last few days!
However, I was otherwise engaged in giving birth to Laura Della at home, just as I had wanted. It was a lovely birth, unmarred by my needing an episiotomy (which had NOT been on the birth plan, but without it, I think I'd still be pushing!). Laura weighed 8lb, 14 oz, is absolutely gorgeous, and DH and DS are thrilled (well, DS is actually thrilled that Laura brought him a paddling pool big enough for him to swim in - aka the birth pool in a box - and his first taste of chocolate. Bribery definitely has its place when staring sibling rivalry in the face.)
