HI ALL WENT IN ON MONDAY FOR INDUCTION!

had sweep at 915 am was not not ready to brake my waters, and then at 1130 sent dh home nothing happing, i hour later started with 1 20 min pain then went down to 3 10 mins so decided to tell dh to come back just in case he got there about 45 mins later in which time was getting under 5 mins apart, told mw she said no room on labour ward so go get a bath which we did but then 2 mins apart and the pain was so bad could not stand, she decided to put monitor on me as was examided again and told no change, she then seeing to some one else in same room, she caming running in as heard every time i had a contraction babys heat beat was very slow.
she then went running into labour ward for the sister on there was told my baby was distressed need to go and get ready for labour.

when i got there no let up with contractions and got some gas and air while doctor and anethertist was called was told need to be in theater like now cos baby was in danger, then an other doc came saying lets examine her first which they said i was only 4 cm so still had to go for csection, while they were debating all i could think og was my baby ok ! so getting me ready putting cathitor in and ready to go i shouted need to push i did twice and out popped baby chloe.
everyone was so shocked even conslultant and then mw turned and said the cord was wrapped round her neck three times, but she was ok, thank god.
for them who knew from 20 weeks scan we found out the placenta only had to cords in stead of 3 and was told could be a number of things up with the baby, but so far they still just checking her with scans in next week she as a clip hip low birth weight but seens fine 5 lb 8 oz and got jordice and keeping fingers crossed. sorry for spelling and long post, and ill post pick soon.

Huge congratulations!
I was wondering how you were doing the other day as you were going to buy my maternity trousers at one point and I was thinking it was a good job you didn't since i've ended up pregnant again! It's lovely to hear your baby is finally here. Welcome to the world baby Chloe.

rubles · 13/06/2007 18:18

Congratulations Trace2, it seems ages since we were ttc together and now you have your lovely daughter! Well done - sounds scary but you proved them wrong and did it yourself.

Hayls · 13/06/2007 18:46

congrats trace

daisyboo · 13/06/2007 18:53

Trace....big big congratulations again and welcome to Chloe....what a beautiful name!. It sounds like it got a bit scary towards the end there, but at least you avoided a c-section and will recover much quicker. Can't wait to see some pictures of her, and fingers crossed that her test results etc over the coming weeks are good!

Come and join us on the post natal thread when you have a moment. It's much quieter than the AN thread for obvious reasons!
