Red Fraggle has her little boy!

Matthew was born by elective section on the 5th June at 1.56 pm.

Everything went blissfully smoothly and the theatre staff were brilliant. It was a really wonderful experience, so calm compared with my previous emergency section.

I came home on the 8th and am feeling great, a little tender obviously, but am wandering about the house without any major problems.

Matthew is feeding well, although it has taken forever for my milk to come in so the poor boy has been rather peckish in the meantime!

His big sister is coping well and DH and I are delighted with our new addition!

Congratulations I might have to have a section as my baby is still breech so it's good to hear you are up and about so soon. I was terrified at the thought of one as I had such a good labour with no 1!
