Well done you - a tricky birth but nice to know you and baby are doing well. Welcome to the world Elodie!¬

Congratulations and welcome to Elodie It was my DS2's 2nd birthday on 17th too

Ouch at 10lb 6oz though, that has made my eyes water

preggerspoppet · 22/05/2007 14:52

aha! found it. very well done to you, I'm sure your dh will forgive you!

Klaw · 22/05/2007 15:35

What a lovely story Summerfruit!

Congratulations on the safe homebirth of Elodie, you did brilliantly. It's a shame about the pph but you'll never forget your wonderful hb!

I'm sure that dh will forgive your outbursts in labour, they sound pretty 'normal' to me from all accounts!

You're a star! Enjoy your babymoon and make sure you are pampered and spoiled, you deserve it!

Congratulations summerfruit on the birth of Elodie! Very pretty name!

I also had a homebirth second time round, and lost a lot of blood in the following 24 hours, it takes quite a while to get over that - don't underestimate how tired you might be for the coming few weeks.
