Quackers new arrival!!!!!!!!

9 days late, baby Georgina Kate arrived by emergency c section on Thursday 5th weighing 6 pounds 14 oz's and she's a little lamb!!!!!

We got home last night finally, so only just getting chance to post!

Went for my induction Thursday, but nothing happened really except we kept getting heart decelerations with the contractions. Her heart went down to 50 beats and did not recover well at all each time and I kept having to have oxygen. THe consultant was called out at 9.30pm and tried to break my waters to see if it would make a difference but she had hooked baby's nose! So she was presenting by the face. That was causing the distress. So went straight to theatre. She was born half an hour later and it was an amazing experience! The staff really looked after me during the op and afterwards and I'm eternally grateful to the consultant for finding out the problem and acting so quickly. I might have lost her. So alls well that ends well!!!

Quackers, this is fantastic news. I have been thinking about you a lot over the last few days. Georgina Kate is a much wanted baby and you will be a lovely mum to her. I guess you could say that she is Quackers' little duckling!! How are you? Are you tired? Are you sleeping? Are you feeding?

Quackers, I'm in tears reading this. I am SO happy for you all. Many, many congratulations.
Hope you are both recovering well from surgery /nasal tweaking.
