I have ask my husband not to share with anyone when I would decide to stop taking the pill to became pregnant. We decided to start trying this summer.I found out he told his friends and family when I will stop the pill, and now everyone is asking how we are doing. I am so upset and dissapointed with him, even thinking to stop it whenever I decide. I think is so rude to ask people about that and I do not understand why he had to share this with everyone. Am I overreacting? Did u do the same?

Have you asked him
Why he felt the need to tell people, especially as you has specifically asked him not to?!

Yes, and he thinks that i am overreacting.. I just think this is our choice and there is not need to tell everyone as it is my body and my decisison. Also his parents are pushing so much for having it, that It just make me think if i really want to.

Whether he thinks your over reacting or not if irrelevant

What was his reason for telling these people?

I would be quite firm here and tell him that your private business is between the two of you and that in future he is not to disclose personal information to all and sundry.

If any one asks you about this I would just brush it off and say that you think it’s a big of a personal question and that you don’t wish to discuss it. That’s it, no need do any further explanation.
