(Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am Not Really Here)

Couldn't let this one slip though.
Congratulations Megg, I have a Beatrice who we call Beabea . Your Beabea has made me totally broody (sorry about the shit bit at the end though, must have been scary).

I knew you'd be gorgeous, all my mumsnet friends are

SoupDragon · 16/05/2007 09:46

Ahhhh.... Congratulations!

Girls are a nightmare compared to boys

oliveoil · 16/05/2007 09:48

congratulations Meggle

your pics won't load atm so will try later and get all broody

I had a GA and emergency with dd1 so be warned that in the next few days you may get very weepy and distressed that you did not have a 'normal' birth and were not 'there' for her at the moment of her birth etc etc

I was quite quite upset for a few weeks - which may have just been normal hormones cauing havoc - and felt a failure. Make sure you talk it out with dh and m/w and friends etc

Not sure if you had a GA with ds or not but IMO a GA section is a whole lot different than one when you are awake. You feel cut off and it really did upset me for a while. Am fine now however but I think talking helped.

Congratulations again!!
