well my ds arrived on the 31st july, elective caesarean (as my first dd was emergency c/s after labour of 13hrs and she was big at 9lb3) this bruiser came out at 11lb 2oz, to a totally "in shock" consultant as he looked over the screen to tell me, and of course to me and my husband. but the bump was big and i knew it was a big baby.biggest baby seen in the maternity ward for ages they said.

his name is fionn, and hes great sleeping and munching away good o on mums huge boobs!!!!

dd getting use to him slowly, feel so guiltly for her. but i am sure that passes with her not sure it will with me...

Big, big, big congratulations hermykne. Don't feel guilty about your dd, she'll love having a little brother around, think of it as a gift to her as well as you! Let's hope this one enjoys his food, eh? .
