So me and my OH have come up with the idea that we will tell my mum and dad and his mum and dad that we are having a baby by purchasing a really nice dummy and putting it in a little box then when they open it there will be the dummy inside with a little note saying ' dear (Nannie and Grandy)/(Nanan and grandad) please keep this for when I come to visit in October.

What does everyone think to that idea and has anyone got any better suggestions..

Also need an idea to tell our brothers and my sister.

Sounds lovely xx

I bought mugs saying worlds best Grandma/Grandad. We had a party and served them a mug of wine/beer each.

I'm not a fan of dummies myself.

That's so sweet!

Oh I think that's absolutely adorable and may just pinch the idea for myself! Congratulations xx

I like the idea, but I'm intrigued as to what a nice dummy is? Dummies aren't nice (says the mother of an absolute dummy monster at 2.5!)
