How do you know it's the right time?

My partner did 2 tests today and it’s very firmly showing she’s pregnant!

I really don’t know what to do!

She already has 5 kids (I am step parent to 4 of them).

I don’t have any biological kids but as far as I’m concerned I have 4 great kids anyway!

But I wasn’t expecting this and I’m struggling to negotiate my thoughts! I’m really happy on one hand as it’s possibly the last chance I’d have for a biological child of my own, but on the other hand I’m petrified about everything a new baby entails!

I don’t even know what I’m asking on here really I spose I just needed to get it out!

I know this is missing the point of your question, but how are you only step day to 4 of the 5? What about the 5th?

He lives with his dad and due to the circumstances of her previous marriage she doesn’t see him. They still talk but they don’t see each other.
