My DC have been wanting a new sibling and I'm so excited to tell them! I want to wait until the 12 week scan to be safe but I also want to tell them in a fun way...

Please share your stories with me!

Sorry to be a party pooper but I think you just need to tell them gently, soberly and in terms they understand.

If they are as excited as you hope then the news will eclipse the method of sharing it. If they are in any way worried then you have a chance to reassure them.

Congratulations Flowers on your lovely news.

DS1 had been pestering us for ages for another sibling. We waited until after the 12w scan then told them we had something to show them. DS1 identified the picture as "a baby in a mummy's tummy" straight away but couldn't guess who's tummy it could possibly be! DH & I were nearly crying laughing at him insisting he didn't know while DC2 was shouting that it could be mine! They were both bouncing when we confirmed it.
