Great-Aunt MamaG (eek)

My lovely niece has had her first baby today

Baby Alfie was born at 5pm, 7lbs 1oz

Thats all I know - apart from the fact that she apparently shrieked "but Aunty MamaG said I should have an epidural" when they told her she didn't have time

I'm very proud of her and can't wait to meet my Great-Nephew

MamaG · 22/03/2007 22:39

My nephew is 19 tomorrow and I remember the day he was born soooo vividly

RTKangaMummy · 22/03/2007 23:00

ok sorry you are NOT old

JanH · 22/03/2007 23:01

Yeah, you must be, I am

MamaG · 22/03/2007 23:01

Thank you

Maybe if I add that it's DH's biological niece who has had the baby - he's the youngest of 4 whereas I'm the oldest of two....does that make me sound younger?!

My friends (!) thought it was great fun to try and enter on in one just after DGD was born, they were told you had to be over 50 to enter!!!! Inequality!

MamaG · 23/03/2007 14:06

you should have lied - all the others would have been green with envy!
