Thanks to all who posted with advice during my "Waters breaking panic"! I rested and tried various induction techniques... sadly to no avail.
Anyway... induced in hospital on monday 5th and 5 hours later Samuel Frederick born at 6.05pm.
He was a healthy 8lb 5oz (that's huge for my babies!) and made the midwives laugh by first rotating one way after his head came out and then going back round 360 degrees the other way before allowing me to push his shoulders out! He was clearly just showing off!
Induction itself was alleviated partly by epidural... although it only took on one side which created an interesting situation of no pain one side and sudden intense agony the other! Still it was all shortlived and i'd honestly do it all tomorrow!
Off to feed him now... and to anyone out there who is facing the dreaded induction it's really not that bad and the mw's tend to be very sympathetic to the fact that it's such a sudden sharp method. Explore your pain relief options and look on hte positive side that you will be holding your baby against you very soon... perfect
