Rosie Erin arrived with gusto this morning at 5:54am.

After having tightenings all day yesterday i went to sleep at 10:30pm and slept soundly until 4am when i woke to a sore contraction. They seemed to be coming quite quickly. Phoned hospital at about 4:30 and they said midwifes would be 20 min to arrive at our house. Still no MWs at 5 am and I was crying out for pain relief. Another call to hospital and they hadn't left - one on-call MW was waiting on the other to arrive. DH told them i was threatening to push and they were on our doorstep by 5:10am! Rosie came crying into the world three quarters of an hour later. Fab!

She weighs a perfect 7lb 4 1/2oz. She is beautiful! Has perfect skin and is a double of her big brother.

It is lovely to be at home... and have been here throughout. Thoroughly recommend HB!

Everything very straight forward. Extremely thankful to God for his goodness.
