Gifts for New Baby

A work colleague was pregnant when I went on holiday last year and I bought her a couple of little gifts for the baby, but sadly she lost the baby, so I didn't give them to her. Then she got pregnant again and has just had a gorgeous little boy.

My question is - is it okay to give her the gifts I bought for the baby she lost? It will be clear that I bought them when I was away last year so hard not to explain when I got them.

Any thoughts?

Difficult one.

You don't want to give her a harsh reminder of the baby she lost. Being British I'd say not to...

Are you close to her? Maybe discuss it, say you have them and would she like them but if not then you might get an idea of what she actually wants for the baby so then you can get exactly the right present! Smile Good luck.
