George Frasier arrived at 4:22 am, 8lb 11oz with 1,000,000 gallons of waters.

He's Fab, I survived.

Far to traumatised to recount the story now will update when I can.

sorry it was so difficult for you. When I had ds I was fine till they burst my waters for me and then it went from bearable to wanting-to-die agony in seconds.
Hope you're feeling well soon.

great news - congratulations

MrsMills · 17/01/2007 11:12

Congratulations to you all, and welcome George! You've chosen a gorgeous name for him, hopefully you'll post a pic soon.

Your birth story reminds me a little of ds2's home birth. I screamed and screamed that he was stuck and wouldn't come out, and then just wept uncontrollably that I couldn't push any harder or any more and I didn't believe the midwife that she could see his head either. He was a shocking 10lb 5oz.

Hopefully number 5 will be easier (yours, not mine!)

annieapple7 · 17/01/2007 11:12

Well done LTH and welcome George - great name. I really should not be reading birth stories now as it is getting closer to my turn but I couldn't resist. I thought it was supposed to get easier with each baby!!

Cadbury · 17/01/2007 11:13

Of course, I say Great news, but I hadn't read what you had to go through. Sounds like the pressure was really building up behind George. Am getting am image of Augustus Gloop in the pipe, Ahem, sorry. Inapproproate Brain drowning in chocolate and my own worst fears of birth!!!

Doubly well done you for getting through that last bit.

Bouj · 17/01/2007 11:17

Oh well done LTH, really pleased for you. SOrry to hear it was such a trial. I am now 4 days overdue and so worried about the pushing part. DS was 9lb 13oz and I ended up with stirrups, ventouse etc and I',m so parnoid it's going to happen again.

Well done you.
