well i finally had my beautiful baby boy oscar,at 6.43 xmas morning. birth went all according to plan, waterbirth with gas n air and was quick, 11 hours from first contraction. had a problem delivering placenta and had to have it removed manually, which was a shame and was unpleasant, and oscar caught an infection and was whisked off to special care for two days which was scary but it was all precautionary and he is fine now. had to spend 4 days in hospital which i did NOT expect so that threw me a bit, and had a belated xmas dinner on the 29th but was all worth it as he`s gorgeous and really well behaved. happy new year to evrybody!!
