Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to you all to say that Callista was born on May 21st at 5.28pm weighing in at 7lbs 12 oz.

It was a really good labour and delivery compared to last time. 13 hours from first proper contraction to delivery. Managed 11 hours on my own then had some gas and air for the final 2 hours. It all went really well and I'm really chuffed that I managed it all. Have some stitches as I tore on my scar from last time but not as many stitches as the first time still have to watch how I sit down though.

Callista is doing fine, feeding and sleeping ok at the moment. dd1 is over the moon at being a big sister especially as she got the baby sister she was so desperate to have.

The midwives were really nice and followed my birth plan and it was just a great experience. But definitely not doing it again, lol

Congrat's and Hugs to you and baby. I cannot belive that you managed to get on the PC 29 Hours after she was born. I was still struggling to get out of my dressing gown at that stage
