Hi,

Baby girl - Chloe, born 5 dec 4.15 pm. Went into hospital on 4 Dec for c-section as I was overdue 10 days and cd not have induction due to previous cs.

Wanted a VBAC this time, but had resigned myself. Well labour finally kicked off on the ward (full moon maybe) at 3am, carried on labouring naturally until 2.30pm, but got kind of stuck at 4 cm for 5 hours. Decided to go 2 more hours then c-section.

Baby born by c-section - no distress, so not an emergency. It was very lovely and postive, and best of all the baby was relaxed and calm so very glad not to have an induction this time.

Very different experience from my last c-section, and has helped me recover from that experience.

Family v. happy, including Chloe's big sister Jemma (3.5). Congrats to the rest of the famous five
