Sorry it's take so long to post this.
Benjamin was born Thursday 30th November at 5pm weighing 6lb 8.5oz which is pretty good for being born at 36+6.
Very scary build up because of the placenta previa but the planned section was almost enjoyable
Went in at 9am bu 2 emergencies came in so was waiting all day!!! Finally got taken to theatre at 4.20pm and had the most fantastic hospital team. The surgeon was so very relaxed and the midwives were great. Dh was here the whole time and the staff were even happy for him to take photo's while they were doing the section
Ben arrived nice and loudly at 5pm and Dh helped clean him up and then bought him over to sit with me until I was sewn up.
Not a huge amount of blood loss so all that panic for nohing
Skin to skin in recovery which was very weird as I couldn't move and Dh spent all his time rearranging my boobs ect lol
All of bens bigs sisters came to see him an hour later
I didn't get home until Monday 5th December as he was quite jaundice and they couldn't decide whether to use the phototherapy lights but didn't need to in the end.
He is now 8 days old and feeding like a trouper although very nocturnal
