Need ideas on how to tell my parents lol

We've just found out, so we've decided that we are going to write the Christmas card from me, hubby, toddler and bump! And give them it Christmas day.

Birth announcement?

Phone call to grandparents as soon as the delivery is safely over.

They'll usually set the family grapevines going.

Them any key people you want to tell yourselves.

I don't think formal written announcements are necessary, especially as extra fuss/expense isn't great when you have a newborn.

Tell friends by the usual means you communicate with them.
