I gave birth to my first baby on Thursday afternoon following a cascade of medical intervention, that I confirmed with my GP yesterday needn't have been started (just goes to show, I should have challenged the senior consultant) but I am completely smitten with Ciara Josephone who was teeny and in the 48 hours I've known her has become such an important and perfect part of our lives - what an amazing feeling!!!
