Hi. Very belatedly, I'm online to announce the birth of my third boy. He was born by c/s at 10.38am on Monday 16 October, weighing in at 8lb 5oz. He's great and pretty perfect, of course! Took a while for my milk to come in so by day 3 he was very very hungry, but we're great now (if I could just stop favouring my right - as ever, when b/f, I'm looking a little lopsided!).

Discharged from hospital on day 3 and c/s healing really well - what can I do with a barely touched bottle of arnica tablets? I don't know if they or the surgeon should take credit but I've had very little pain, scar is remarkably 'clean' and I feel very close to back to normal (except for excess EXCESS weight!)

Freddie's brothers are just amazing with him - Sam keeps telling me the baby is so cute! He's not wrong. I would love to learn how to post a photo of him, but I'm just too afraid of new technology, lol. Perhaps I'll start by changing my name to Jamiesam&Freddie???

Oh, lovely jamiesam, like the name too!!

Glad you are healing well, I've just had my appendix out and keep wondering how all you c/s people cope with a (much bigger) scar AND a small baby ... hats off!!

Enjoy him
