Catgirl is 2 weeks early!

Due date was 31 Oct, so early evening 16 Oct waters start to leak (at least I was hoping that was my water rather than I had lost all control over my bladder!).
After dh getting home, and we put ds to bed, head up to the hospital to get checked out - yes, waters have gone, yes contracting, yes baby ok, but not dilating. So we head home - hospital say we can stay but don't want to (we only live 5 mins away). Send ds home with friend, as if nothing happens overnight we have been asked to go back by 7am to start induction.
Pain quite regular, quite low down, so by midnight back in the car up to the hospital. Checked at 12:20 - still not dilating. Fab midwife just lets us get on with it and keeps checking in etc. By 2 am I am 4 cms dilated. Ready to start pushing at 2:45 am and Bryn Arthur born at 3 am! Fast and furious is the way I would describe it - all on gas and air, and dh was absolutely wonderful and there is no way I could have done all that on gas and air without him. One small tear and no stitches.
Weighed in a 8lb 6ozs - so am very glad he was 2 weeks early!
