Little MR Omari Malachi Luis born 5th August weighing 9lbs! All natural birth with no pain relief but gas and air!!! Labour started on the pm of my due date (2nd August), lost my plug with a little waters on Sunday, I then went in due to lack of movements was examined and told I was already in established labour! Labour was painful...gas and air is my new best friend... Contractions subsided when it was time to push as a result getting him out took 2 and half hrs on no contraction! I was pumped full of a hormone to make me contract tht didn't work! After he was finally here, my placenta wasn't born so I had to have it taken out in theatre 4 hours later as well as getting stitched up!
Already had baby blues and yesterday I truely felt I had been hit by a truck and my nipples feel like they've been ripped off BUT it's all worth it! I have a healthy happy little bubba boy! xxx 
Royal Sussex County hospital maternity services Brighton...midwives, anaesthetists, surgeons, porters, volunteers etc were the best!!!
