So people keep telling me!

Kiera Meghan was born 24/08 weighing 8lb 2oz after a scary labour (in my eyes!)

Contractions started 2-5 minutes apart at 5.30am, turned the tens on at around 10.30am, and by 11.30 dh wanted to get to the hospital in case of bad traffic - we got there in 20 minutes MW couldn't tell how dilated I was as the waters were in the way, she guessed between 2 and 5cm, so did a sweep. We had a wander around the hospital and grabbed some lunch, and returned back to the room at 1.30pm, with contractions coming one after the other. The pain suddenly changed and I ripped the tens off as it started irritating me, and by 2.15 I was demanding an epidural! MW was trying her best to delay me having one with examinations and stuff (6cm at this point) but I insisted, walked down the stairs to the delivery room, and in the space of those 10 minutes I must have shot from 6cm to 10cm as I realised I was pushing already. After three pushes Kiera was born! The room was a total bloodbath and looked like something from a Tarantino movie, and I was rather shellshocked after the total lack of any pain relief but she's oh so worth it

Congratulations Lunavix. You say 24/8, but you were posting on 28th as if she was not born yet. It's 29th today!

Is that a typing error?
