George ("Georgie") Patrick was born on 22nd August at 9.15 am weighing 6lb 13oz - so not as heavy as anticipated. He has a head of dark hair and beautiful dark olive skin.
The birth itself was very traumatic - a planned section for breach (as I said all along but the community midwife would not have it!) and also two previous cs. However, the scar was so thin the surgeon could just poke his finger through. DS was delivered under 10 minutes but they took another hour trying to stop me bleeding and I was close to an abruption of the womb. I lost a pint of blood and ended up with a drain in, as well.
But DS is our little angel - sleeping well, breast feeding well and the most contented baby you could ever wish for. He even slept through the baby in the bed opposite us screaming every night. DD's are "in love with him so much" and I am the happiest woman in the world. Dh has just taken him out to introduce him to the neighbours.
