O.K then , boys are fab too.

Elliot was born at home on Tuesday 22nd August at 2.50 p.m. He has a head full of black hair like his sisters and looks just like them but very male looking. Weighing in at 8.7 he is all squidgy already and i am just smitten yet again and keep smelling him whenever i can.
His sisters seem to adore him, think the little one (17 months) is a bit overwhelmed but coping brilliantly so far.

For those that like details, i had cramps all night and thought this was it although it was 9 days early. I got the girls at Nanas the next morning and rang the midwife about 9. She arrived at 10.30 and i was 6 cm's dilated so thought it wouldn't be long as the girls came very quickly. At around 1.45 we were all suprised he wasn't here yet and then we ran out of gas and air so i had to do quite a few contractions with nothing! OOWWWW! Had the pethidine on stand by but didn't want it! Anyway, when she checked me she said there was a tiny bit of cervix but it should be soon.
After what seemed like a LONG time pushing, out he came.
First time i haven't torn or needed stitches and it's amazing being able to sit properly so soon after giving Birth.
Wonderful feeling having him at home and would definately have another one at home.

All the wondering about how i'd feel for a boy! I am in love!!
