baby James (Jamie to his friends) put in an appearance at 1.30 am yesterday and is wrinkly and lovely

the birth all went really well - 5 hours start to finish, an hour and a half of that at the hospital - we'd only gone to the hospital then cos I was dying for some better pain relief than dh rubbing all the wrong bits of my back and saying irritating things from the Miriam Stoppard book like ' every contraction is bringing you closer to the birth' - thank goodness we did as they only just got the paediatrician there in time

it all went really well, just tens (love love love that machine) and breathing stuff, very quick delivery as they were worried about the c section scar so 6 pushes, ventouse, and 2 cm episio

I'm back on my feet already and bursting with energy - thousand times better than the c section last time and I'm on such a high about it all

waters broken in hospital - v boring (that detail is for chatee!)

off home now so love to all the other march mums, mums to be and babies - thinking of you all

Congratulations Morocco, glad all is well and these babies seem to be being born at such a fast rate. No one has suffered really long labours yet. Glad you have lots of energy and feel full of beans, I do too, but it has only been a week, I will probably post a "help me I'm loosing it thread soon!" if it all starts going down hill. Thinking of you and your new addition and love to other expectant mums.
