Rather belated birth announcement.

I had my baby daughter by elective c-section on June 1st. Esmae Georgia was 7lb 15 and a halfoz and is beautiful.

c-section went really well although I reacted badly to the diamorphine and felt really sick which delayed the surgery a bit, I then felt itchy for about three days after.

DP was wonderful and got really emotional, he told me after that although they had the screen up he could see everything the surgeons were doing through the reflection in the window - glad he's not too squeamish!

DS and DD1 really love their little sister and keep singing songs when she cries.

I recovered really well and got home three days later. Now at nearly five weeks I feel fine and am looking forward to just about getting into my old jeans although I think my stomach muscles have given up the ghost!!
