I just wanted to announce the birth of my beautiful baby daughter, Carrie Louise Lilian,on March 7th 2006, weighing 7lb 15oz. She has a mop of dark hair and big dark eyes, and is absolutely gorgeous!
Anyone who may remember me will have guessed that she was born by caesarian section (!), but she arrived without any problems and was delivered safely into my arms. I am truly the luckiest, and happiest, woman in the world!!!

Oh fantastic! Someone was asking about multiple caesareans in February and I was wondering how you were doing.

Congratulations!

The operation was totally fine, if it wasn't for the fact I'd had so many ops I wouldn't be put off having more babies!!!! There is truly no hope for me.....

Congrats zipper.... really pleased for you Smile
Have you been advised to not ahve anymore ? This is your 7th section isn't it ? Does go to show that you can have more than 4 !

zipper · 21/04/2006 13:32

Sorry, didn't see message, haven't had a moment to turn on computer!! I think the answer to that question is that it depends on how the pregnancy has gone. I didn't have any problems at all. I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to go for it just because I have been fine, it would depend a lot on medical history.

Hi zipper - how many of the 7 have been by c-section? Just wondering because a friend of mine has just had her 2nd section and is worrying about being able to have more - I'm sure she'd be OK to have another couple by section if necessary? It would be good to give her a hopeful story!

Dottydot · 25/04/2006 21:52

oops - just read pupuce's message properly..! Blush Sorry for being dim and congratulations and baby Carrie!
