present for expectant mother

Any ideas welcome, need to get a present for a friend who is pregnant and has two children already. This is something for her, not for the kids, to be given at baby shower.am feeling very lacking in ideas!

I know other friends are getting posh toiletries etc so want to avoid that

As it's not traditional to have a shower for a subsequent birth, I don't think you need apply the usual shower-type thinking for any present you want to get her.

What did you get her for her last birthday? Did she like it? Could you get something similar again?

Have a look at a new company called "Pecographe". The owner is a friend and I know she does beautiful framed pictures and canvases - I've just had one and it is fantastic.

Make a 'nappy cake' and fill it with a few baby bits n bobs and some lovely mummy things
