Just to let everyone know our first daughter was born last Saturday (28th), at 12:02 am (she was determined to hold on until just after midnight!). She came into the world weighing a pleasing 7lb 12oz's,.. my labour was relatively straight forward and rather quick, I went from 3cm dilated to 9cm dilated within about 2 hours! All of that meant plans for an epidural went out of the window and I gave birth without any pain relief what so ever...Wonderfully natural but ever-so painful

Since her birth things have been going well, she is a real star! We've ummmed and arrred over names but have finally settled upon: Beebe... Which will inevitable be shortened to Bee.

So yes, that's my birth announcement, just thought I'd share the happy news It's been really wonderful keeping up to date with everyone else's bundles!

'Natural' childbirth hurts like . I did it twice without particularly meaning to, too!
