Wasnt just santa v busy on christmas Eve, i was too,
Daisy Grace arrived at 5.50am christmas morning, her due date, best gift we could of hoped for
fast furious (painful!) labour at home. Just how I wanted it-aside from the painful part. and just after I'd given up hope of being on time and was preparing to go overdue...
shes absolutely gorgeous and adored by her brother and sisters.
other dec ladies -pic will follow

gggimmesnowsnow · 28/12/2005 19:15

Such a lovely sunny name for a Christmas baby. Congratulations!

dramaqueen72 · 28/12/2005 19:26

thanks ladies:0
TC, she was 7lbs11 and it took about two and abit hours with the official 'labour' being 1hr 50.
it really hurt -LOL- but I loved being in the pool and found it really helped between contractions. the second midwife never made it in time to catch the baby, but turned up to help clear up fabulous fabulous being at home, felt so private and cosy and of course christmas morning, very special, relatives popping head round door later etc.
shes adorable and sooooooooooooo snuggly. its justa great christmas in our household

Congratulations

How lovely to have a baby on christmas day.

THOMCATsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 28/12/2005 19:32

Sounds FAB. And I couldn't agree more about the home birth - I loved it and if I ever have a third I would always go for the home option. And how fab is water as pain relief, oh what bliss, oh at least for a bit aye

kate100 · 28/12/2005 20:14
