Hi Everyone , know I'm a little late but my son Sam arrived on 22nd Nov weighing 8lb 14oz he feed every 2 hours and on day 10 was 9lb 8oz. You can see why I dont get on much these days. Surviving better than I thought I would on so little sleep and he is a doll. Had a 36 hour labour and almost sent me for a section but he turned and came at the last moment taking just 30 minutes to push out, I tore quite badly though and after being stitched nearly had to go back to theatre for drain and restitch but got away with it.
Still sore to sit and wee !! Was all worth it though x

Congratulations. What a big boy!

Poor you, re the soreness. I remember it well from my first one. Just think, by Christmas, the pain should be gone! and think of all the lovely food you can enjoy now without worrying about baby!

Congratulations Sharon

Glad things turned out well, and SO glad you avoided the dreaded drain. I had one in after my section and having it pulled out was horrendous!!

He sounds beautiful and you sound very happy! Well done! Any piccies?

Big congrats, Sharon. Sorry to hear you had such a rough time of it. You are obviously a strong cookie! Sam clearly likes his milk & I hope you're enjoying the rest during his feeds.

Congrats and welcome Sam.

Recommend the gel pads you can put in the freezer then put in a muslin sleeve and then put in your pants - bliss!

Arnica is good for helping reducing bruising etc.
