Beatrice Alice made her rather rapid entrance into the world at 9.35pm this evening weighing in at 5lb 15.5oz. I'll post the full story in the morning but we are both fine. Freedom at last!

What a fantastic birth story - knowing it can happen like that almost makes me think I could go through it again (although I'm sure it didn't feel like that when the 'jigsaw' was being attempted)

Well, Katherine, I have been away all week and kept thinking you must have had your baby by now, but she really held out, didn't she?

Congratulations, having followed your pregnancy ups and downs on 'mums2b...' I'm really pleased it went the way you had hoped. Well done you, and give a big hug to ds1, dd1 and dd2 for us all.
