The Bump Has Landed!

I am so chuffed to announce that ds 2, Jude, arrived at 4.15 am on the 17th of August.

It was a dream labour lasting a total of 2 hours 45 minutes from first contraction to end of third stage! I would highly recomend a homebirth and/or waterbirth to anyone. I felt very in control and the midwives were suprised when the baby suddenly swam into the water!!

AND the best bit- he was 9lb 14oz and I had a small graze- no stitches!!

Ds 1 (who slept through the whole thing) thinks that baba is worth lots and lots of smiles and is so far adjusting very well!! (probably better than daddy!)

will post a birth story later!
