It is 8 days since our angel left us. She has died one week after birth, cause was a brain damage, caused by cut on air supply at some point of pregnancy.. doctors dont know..

I'm beeing strong. I'm feeling empty and kind of death. I can't find things to do. My husband has to go back to work and I dont know what to do with myself. It is so hard to see all the pregnant woman and all the babies and mums...

I wanna get pregnant straight away
I am so scared of getting pregnant
I am scared of pain which ripped my heart appart

Is there anyone who felt the same?

thank you

Verunka

Thank You..

every story which I hear, helps me so much.

I think that the candle is a lovely idea and thank you for that.. what I really would like though is for everyone who thinks of my little angel to send a litlle flower on a water.. Flowers meant a lot to me during the pregnancy, I used to wear so many of them in my hair and as I didn't do it before, I'm sure that Angelina loves flowers and she wanted to be surounded with them all the time..

ooooohh and we live in sw London.. lots of flowers in here...

Thank You All!

We all light candles in honour of each others children on the bereaved mums thread. Each birthday and remember day (we dont like the word anniversary) we remember our precious children. It sounds such a simple thing but it is so comforting to know that other people - who have never met in real life - are thinking about us.

I love flowers - sunflowers remind me of my two sons - sunflowers have 'happy faces' if you know what I mean xxx

Verunka....how heartbreaking for you and your dh...

I have no first hand experience...but generally speaking, I would say that your feelings are probably pretty normal, and it's worth to remember there is no rule to grieving and to what you feel....

So, just be kind to yoruself and take it a day at the time....

(((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))

Will float a flower for Angelina on Friday.

thumbwitch · 24/06/2009 11:42

We will too - we'll go to the pond and float one for her there.
((hugs)) for you.

Olissa · 24/06/2009 11:48

Will be thinking of you on Friday and will float a flower on the river for Angelina.
I'm glad the sun is helping a little and you are letting the tears out.

We didn't wear black for Caitlin's funeral either - I wore purple, in fact!

Lots of love x

shabster · 26/06/2009 08:23

Will be thinking about all of you today xxx

gardeningmum05 · 26/06/2009 12:56

verunka, god i hope you are ok today.
i am crying as i type this, my daughter died 13 days old so i genuinely know how you are feeling
we went away after the funeral and i think this helped a little. we needed to be around people that did not know. i felt that where ever i went there was a great big storm cloud over my head. you need to talk to people that genuinely know the pain, mumsnet is great for that. we couldnt get anyone to help us through it when it happened to us and we were desperate to talk, really desperate.
i am going to float a flower on my pond now for your beautiful daughter.
take care xx

my thoughts are with you today on a very difficult day

Aspire2Iron · 05/08/2009 22:03

Bless you Verunka. Angelina angel. I will float a flower for her in a nearby pond in a lake. Passers-by will see it, and others floated in memory of your daughter, and think how beautiful it is. A sweet gift from heaven.

Take care. Breathe deeply. Bless you.

abraid · 05/08/2009 22:06

SO sorry to hear this.

littledee · 05/08/2009 22:11

I am so sorry for your loss, I had a misscarriage in late May, so can feel a little of your loss, but would never equate it to yours. I'm in tears writing this, my heart goes out to you.

I do feel the same as you re just wanting to get pregnant as soon s possible, and it is so hard seeing all those pregnant bellies out there. My sister in law just had a baby and my other sister in law is due in October.

Please try and be strong, look after yourself as best you can. Try again when you fel physically up to it. Make sure you talk about your loss as soon as you feel able to, it honestly will make it easier. Take care xxx
