Odd question about cremations...

My Gran is being cremated today and we have decided to leave her with her rings on. They are gold.

What happens to them? Do they melt and go with her ashes??

I am more then happy for them to stay with Gran but dont want them to stay as they are and someone take them. Thanks x

Tbh I dont think the rings melt... this is my personal belief she came into this world without any riches shes leaving with her heart and soul full of love ,rings wont matter in heaven.

Id keep them.

You can leave them on, the gold is raked out after the cremation and most crematoriums sell it and give the proceeds to a charity chosen for the year.
