Light periods after m/c - is this normal?

After missed m/c and erpc at 12 weeks my period returned on time 28 days later but that and the one I'm having now are very light ie one day of normal bleeding then a couple of v light then a week of spotting. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have misscarried myself recently, but had no periods yet, it could be that your hormones arent back to normal yet, so perhaps you havent ovulated yet which might give you a lighter period, sorry to hear about your misscarriage{{{hugs}}}

Sorry to hear about your m/c... its not a very nice time. ((hugs)) I recently m/c at 8 weeks. My period came 6 weeks after. Was extremely heavy for the first 3 days but have been spotting light for the last few days. The not knowing what is "normal" or right is quite worrying. I think it takes a few months for our bodies to get back to normal after the stress it goes through

I also m/c at 6.5 weeks - period returned a few days ago & on time. Heavier than usual for the first 3 days & back to normal now. As others say, I expect we are all different
